Do most parks check/copy your ID? (Victims of ID theft)

Yes. They were usually in front of me in the grocery store. They would then wait until everything was bagged and in the cart before starting to look for the checkbook in the 25 lb 44 qt purse they had on a hand truck. Once found they would ask the cashier for a pen. .Asking for ID was another 10 minutes. In retirement it was more fun to watch. Walmart pickup is awesome.
