Do you find awning useful?
If you were to buy a new RV, would you pay for this option? Or is this just a waste of money?

I had no idea it was an option. I've never seen a new RV without one. Yes they are nice for shade and in case it rains and you still want to be outside etc. Just exercise care in the wind.
