As for batteries, if you want 2, get an isolator....it will keep your van battery from going dead and will charge the coach battery while the van is running.
I have a device with male/female cigarette lighter fittings that will stop the draw before it runs the battery too low to prevent starting. one of my coolers has that setting built in.
