I prefer to bring 1 or 2 (depending on duration) 20 litre bottles of spring water for coffee, drinking and cooking, and a case of small bottles for walks and drives,
no its not PARANOIA its a matter of sh++ty tasting water in allot of places because of the "walkerton incident" water testing and safety here has been taken more seriously and allot of places that have their own source for water over chlorinates it to the point where a shower you would think you are in a public swimming pool the smell is so strong
I avoid as much as possible drinking "chemically" treated water
some places had to rework their water systems after the incident because with the more stringent testing that "great tasting" water was showing bacteria levels that are not so acceptable.
