Dumping tanks at home??
I'm new to RVing and am looking into the possibility of dumping the tanks at home. Our house is maybe 3 feet above the street. There is one port to the sewer near the street with a loose plastic cap...

60' uphill. If I had clean out I would use it but it indeed may be against some city ordinance. It's sewage going into a sewage system so it won't hurt but most places charge for sewer so the would consider it a theft.
You have your own septic tank. The OP wants to put it in a storm drain/curb drain.
He isn't dumping into a storm drain. He's dumping into his sewer line.
He didn't say storm drain.
