Extended warranty
Are extended warranties worth the money? We are probably buying a Jayco with a 2 year warranty. Any reason to go beyond that?

Read the fine print, if you buy a 3 year extended warranty in 2015 on an RV that already has a 2 year manufacturers warranty, then you will only be covered on your extended warranty for 2018 or 1 year! You are paying for 3 and getting only 1 year. And they will find many ways to deny your claim! We bought one ONCE and have never done it again. Now, I just save my pennies and do my own repairs when I can. If you were serious about the extend warranty, get it just before your regular warranty ends. By then you will have probably changed your mind as most repairs are done during the first year. Not much goes wrong after that. Good luck
