Why buy a warranty on a new Jayco that already is covered for 2 years? I have only experienced minor issues with our Jayco in the 2.5 years we have owned it and never had to take it to the dealer for repairs.
Most RV manufactures have only a 1 year warranty bumper to bumper although frames, roof, appliances etc. usually have much longer warranties. I didn't care too much for the Jayco's in my weight and price point. My 5'er had a 1 yr warranty. I bought an extended for peace of mind. I would not have done so at the original asking price for it or even close to it. Dealers try to mark it up heavily.
I've had minor repairs done that the warranty has already paid for. Items were the same on most other trailers so nothing to do with RV manufacture. As such I'm losing faith with Dometic!
