Just be clear that you will likely lose close to the same amount of value if you bought a brand new crew cab pickup and TT, log 10k miles, then sell it.
My dad had two very expensive diesel pushers, a 40', then 45'. They were beautiful. But his expenses and hassles of driving the RV compared to mine were much higher. Something fails, you are down. And he had no toad so he was limited on local touring. I vote truck and TT route. Used is even better. Any late model 3/4+ ton pickup, especially a diesel will hold its value reasonably well and be very reliable for your tip. If you sell, you'll recoup at least 80% of your extra costs of gas powered all the while enjoying a much more pleasant towing experience. This allows you to find nearly any (I recommend used) TT you want.
