Family doing 3 month summer trip, Class C or Travel Trailer?

My family's first TT, the one I mentioned earlier on this thread, was an ex-rental. It had not been well-maintained, but what mattered worked. We just figured that someone else had put the first dings on it, so we could relax about that.

Disclaimer: in those days, TT's had ice box, butane stove, hand water pump, and no other plumbing or electrical doodads to go wrong. If you choose the ex-rental path, examine the unit and its records carefully.
