You can still have a propane leak even if you aren't using propane. There could be a leak at a fitting, etc. My parents bought a used Class B one time and my sister and I both smelled gas, but Mom and Dad didn't, so they ignored it. My sister bought them a propane detector and Dad wouldn't use it because he said it didn't work. Seems as soon as he hooked it up it started beeping. :R So the two sons-in-law traced all the lines. . . found a loose fitting, tightened it up and that was the end of the problem.

You also need to replace detectors periodically. Not just change batteries. When we bought our used B+, we changed all the detectors.

On a serious note, very dark urine (brown/red) can be a solid indicator of hemolysis.
