Why not rent one before you buy? For the next month or two, there will be plenty available for rent. During the later spring and into summer, less are sitting and are out on the road. This will let you get a taste of operating one and you'll know what you like and don't like without investing a bunch of money. I like my B but it's too small for the number of people you'll be traveling with. An A or C will both do the trick but if you've never driven one, it is different. Sort of like driving a large U-Haul truck. The C's uaully have sleeping areas over the drivers seat and the kids would probably prefer that.
