Financing or not financing an RV is only a tiny snip of ones overall financial picture.
If one chooses to make investments and finance a purchase, they have to accept the risk. Remember several years back when stocks fell 48% in one year? Some feel we are at a peak right now and facing another correction, I don't know.
The really, really bad thing about financing an unnecessary purchase for the majority of people is it often indicates habitual impulsive overspending and poor money management. Not true in every case, but more often than not.
