4. I've never thought of it as a percentage of income, but the monthly payment is 1.5% of our gross monthly income, so it's negligible. Not sure I would put a "too much" percentage limit on it, but I guess "too much" is when I can't afford to make the payments and enjoy life at the same time. :)
