I agree with another response - your first trip should be in your driveway. You will learn right away what you need to run back into the house for during the night.
At a campground you will need a fresh water hose (25 ft), all that your dump system requires to dump your tanks - slinky hose, all connections, etc., for cable TV hookup at the campground if you are equipped for it, a coax cable, polarity tester and voltage meter to test the campground electric outlet before hooking up, a water pressure regulator - never hook up your plumbing to city water without one,and eventually a surge power protector unit that connects between your electric line and the outside outlet to protect you from surge, spike, and high or low voltage.
Sheets, towels, pillows, kitchenware, pots,dishes, cups, and whatever you use everyday at home to do the same thing while you are in the camper.
All, except the surge power protector, you can buy at Walmart in various departments.
Then go on your trip and see what you left behind. You are never really too far away from a store where you can buy what you need when you discover you don't have it.
