Yes about staying at an RV park before and after boondocking. Is what we do.
If you will be using your fresh water tank for drinking water, be sure you have sanitized it with bleach and then rinsed with clean water before filling. I always have to look up the bleach/water ration online. We use 3-5 gallon jugs for drinking water and supplement with purchased smaller water bottles. Showers will gobble up your water so make them Navy style - wet down/water off, soap and shampoo up, water on rinse quickly and be done.
We enjoy boondocking a lot and do it for months in long term areas of AZ BLM land. Enjoy the adventure!
