Well, better continuity to the cable would be the new antenna. I used all the existing cable and switch plate with the same power injector. The only difference is the antenna. Digital antenna or not the Jack antenna is a far superior antenna IMO!
It all can't be from changing the antenna as not everyone that changes is picking the same antenna.
