Re: JACK.
Compared to the winegard Roadstar Omin, YES, it is better.
Every study I've read comparing the Jack to the Sensar, without wingman, shows the Sensar is better on some channels, overall its a wash
Add the wingman and the Jack looses
Add the sensar pro and the jack kind of goes KABOOM (Gets blown away)
I run a Sensar II, Wingman, Sensar pro and see many miles.
Right now I have "Poor" reception for the area where I'm parked.
Channel 4 (RF Chan 36) miles
Channel 13 (RF chan 13) 54 miles
Channel 62 (RF chan 45) 43 miles
Chan 33 (RF 25) 54 miles
17 Miles away the trees are less dense and I get good reception..Add the following
Chan 21 (RF 21) 38 miles
Chan 29 (RF 9) 32 miles
Chan 16 (RF 16) 33 miles
Chan 7 (RF 7( 48 miles
Chan 30 (RF 14) 34 miles
NOTE: I can get some of those by re-pointing the antenna, no two are on exactly the same vector,, But all on the same side of the motor home where I am parked.. At the other site they are within 50 degrees of arc (here it is closer to 80)
The Jack might work better here, being as it is not as high gain and thus not as directional.
Yep you obviously understand and have done your homework in understanding the performance of the various antenna options out there and IMO your evaluation and ranking is spot on IMO.
