There is no such thing as a digital or HD antenna. The older antennas were designed to cover the VHF and UHF band. The newer antennas are aimed more to the UHF band where most of the stations have moved.
The digital signal is taken care of by the TV or convertor. The antenna simply receives a radio frequency signal.
I am a ham radio operator and use the same antenna for AM, FM, Sideband, CW (Morse code) and digital mode transmissions and receive.
With the current crop on antennas, for me, the best performing antenna is the Wineguard Sensar IV which includes the Wingeman attachment and an interior signal panel. I have not been impressed by the Jack antenna.
