- catkinsExplorer IIYour owners manual should have directions for Recreational Towing of the Acadia. Seems to me, you may have to disconnect one battery cable to tow on GMs but I am NOT sure.
Your owners manual or GM tech support is your best bet for accurate answers to your specific vehicle. If the battery is disconnected, you will not add mileage. Good luck! - ro_sieExplorerWe tow a 2015 Acadia. Pull two fuses, put it in neutral, and make sure the brake is off . Does not rack up miles. Talk to the service manager at your dealership.
- mtwallet2ExplorerThanks for your everyone's help. I did check with service manger & reviewed procedure in owners manual. Because of electric start / stop ignition button there is no need to pull fuses or disconnect battery. Just follow procedure in owners manual which is to lift boot around shifter, then press button under boot to release shifter, so you can put it into neutral.
