The state parks have sites available for blind drive ins that are not in the reservation system. But you are going to have to move from site to site to site. And on the weekends they fill right up with locals, and they know how to work the system to get a spot.

I was using the State Park just to dump my MH while staying at friends during the height of Snowbird Season and inquired about open spots!! They aslo said I didn't have to go thru reserve america either to pay if you pull in and want to stay. Only for reservations for the future.
I sure wasnt' aware of this after reading all the posts here that you HAD to reserve sites at SP.
