The advantage of folding bikes is that they don't require a rack.
You could always buy them at Camping World when you get to the states.

Are you planning on dumping them after two weeks or shipping them home?
Another option is get the cheapest bikes at Walmart and sell them cheap to someone at the last campground where you stay. If you can't sell them just leave them sit with a free sign on them.
Maybe a bicycle shop will rent you some bikes but buying and tossing may be less expensive.
