I travel with 4 well behaved dogs.
And yes MANY CG's have a 2 dog limit AND weight limit.
You will be slightly inconvenienced because you will have to check on line or call to see what their dog policy is before heading out. The more popular a CG is or how close to an attraction the CG is the more stringent their dog rules will be up to an including no dogs!
If you are just traveling around and need a place for the night during your travels most of the CG's close to the interstate will not have dog rules. If you are traveling to a destination for a week or so you will first have to call around to find one that will accept your dogs.
I found KOA to be VERY pet friendly. I joined their membership for discounts and they have a real nice catalog with all their CG's, with a map for directions for each one and 'working' phone numbers.
I now pretty much stay exclusively at KOA's no more surprises for me and the dogs are always welcomed. I also have stayed at numerous other CG's with the dogs also. Don't sweat it!
Welcome to the forum!
As you get on the road and start traveling in your new RV, you can always post to the 'Pet Stop' section of this forum and ask there if they know of a pet friendly CG in the area you are heading. A lot of seasoned multiple small and big dog campers there that can help you out! :C
