I just love how everyone always says their dogs are 'little' and 'well behaved' and - my favorite - 'They don't bark hardly at all'. What does 'little' have to do with barking ? Been full timing for a few years now and it's been my experience that the little ones ARE THE ONES THAT BARK THE MOST ! Nothing better then being woke up when the people next door take their Herd outside for the first time in the morning. I don't know what's worse - All the yipping and yapping or the owners yelling at little Zippy and Fluffy to be quiet. I especially like all the criss-crossed leashes as they wander around.
Don't get me wrong. I love dogs. I've always had dogs (just not right now). The last ones were a Lab and then a Greyhound. I admittedly am much more partial to the larger breeds as they seem way more calmer than the little guys. Napolean Complex ? It seems they don't bark nearly as much.
So do yourself a favor - trade in that flock of spare dogs for one main dog - like a Lab !
Now - let the flaming begin.
No flaming from me........
For the 7 yrs we FTd dog issues were from the 'little darlins'
YAP, YAP, Yap, Yap...... :S
Really ticked our 70# Border Collie Mix off cause she wasn't allowed to bark back or have one for a snack.
I WAS tempted on occasion to let her herd them :B
