Did you try reversing the shelves? If the case is tapered, so probably are the shelves.
When I bought my View, ALL of the shelves were gone, just a big 'ole empty fridge, cost a $150 or so to get all new shelves, crisper, glass for the crisper, etc. Its like they stripped everything loose and threw it away, the cup holders were missing also.
