x2. Same with refrigerator, although that's easier as we just leave it on Auto. Only exception is when we first arrive at a site and need hot water soon after setting up. In that case, we run it both on electric and gas, then switch to electric only once the tank is heated up. Haven't run out of hot water yet on electic only, even when taking back-to-back showers.
