Don't know about Power Pro but Champion generators are well made and they provide excellent customer service. Their inverter generators are quiet, provide rated power with a clean and pure sinewave, at about half the cost of a comparable Yamaha or Honda.
Champion 2000 watt inverter genny will run pretty much everything in your RV except the AC and are priced around $500, their 3100 watt inverter genny will run a single AC unit and costs roughly $900. You can pair up a couple of 2000 watt units to run AC and only bring one when AC usage is not anticipated.
Both of the above versions are used by many on this forum and they are well received. Champion does offer open cage units delivering 1500 or 3500 watts, many on the forum use the 3500 watt version which can power your entire rig and can be purchased for under $400.
Don't fret about others who want you to RV as they do, as long as any rules to running a generator in a particular campground are followed you are good to go. If someone is bothered by legal generator use they should camp where their use is 100 percent prohibited.
