I put down gravel. Keep in mind that, for a fifth wheel or TT, the gravel only has to be big enough to spot all 4 wheels on it.
We pulled the trailer in and spotted it exactly where we want it and marked the wheels. Pull it out; install gravel 10'x10'; put it away with the wheels on the gravel; level front to rear; install the wheel covers; Miller Time.
It does help that we have a pull through lot (Cul-de-sac in front and local street behind.). I got a $45 permit from the county for rear yard storage which is good forever.
I did spend $1600 for two 14' rolling gates which my son and I installed. That could have been a lot cheaper it we had used swing gates, but the rollers look good.
