I live in a class A with slides.. Just like the one you wanted.
Now, Ground clearance.. I see DP's with like 2 inches (it seems) of clearance, look like a pot hole and they'd be scraping the road.
My Gasser.. I'm 6'1.5" in my stocking feet by 300 pounds shower weight (In short BIG) and the only places under the coach I can not crawl around comfortably are under the differential and the jacks and though I can fit under the front axle, it's a bit tight. Most of what is down there I can actually SIT (once I am past the storage compartments into the drive shaft alley).
So do not give up on an "A" just yet.
