A coworker of mine tows a 2015 Coachman Clipper Ultra-Lite 17BH with a Highlander. They have two kids (7 or 8 years old) and he says the Highlander does fine with the trailer and a full vehicle. I believe he spent $11k on it 3 months ago.
The 17FQ would be more suited for someone traveling without children as well and weighs about the same with less of a hitch weight. It also has a 74" bed.
The 17FQ looks really good too! Here's my question on dinette/beds since I've long since forgotten my high school algebra....
If a dinette is 32 x 68, how long is it on the diagonal. I have lots of friends who are 5'10" or taller and 5'8" is too short. But if they slept on the diagonal, it's longer, right???
