One thing on the plus side I forgot to mention. Our eating expenses are about 1/4 -1/3 what is used to be when we moteled it. For us the gas is about the same as when we used to use a pickup to tow the trailer (actually getting about 5-10% better mileage with the motorhome).
Also on the rig choice, if your booth and product setup is reasonably small I have seen vendors use the large basement storage in class A's to haul everything. It kinda looks like a pain to me though to load and unload from basement storage however. I have seen a few vendors with toy haulers over the 20 years I have been doing shows. They can be challenging at times to get them where you need to unload from at times. You're lucky you do shows with places to stay onsite as many of the convention centers near us we could not even find places near the show to park during the day so we quit doing those shows.
On the minus column a lot of the showgrounds that we stay at charge from $25.00-$50.00 per night for RV's. Have even paid $30.00 a night for dry camping in parking lots at the shows. Hope all this info helps, Jeff.
