Hello! I wanted to jump in here and say hello from Mississippi. My wife, son, and I are looking at getting into rv'ing. We are looking at a few options for a travel trailer as we have a 1/2 ton pickup...

Things to buy (so you don't have to swap them from your house to the camper)
• Inexpensive, but heavy, plastic dishes
• Inexpensive flatwear (or go paper plates and plastic)
Hand towels/dish towels
• Various kitchen cleaners and a plastic box to stow them in
• Inexpensive stainless steel w/aluminum bottom pots and pans (probably no more than 3 pots and 2 frying pans)
• Various kitchen gadget (#1 can opener)
When we started camping, some things that we used in the house migrated to the camper and new items were bought for the house (toaster, coffee pot, etc)
