Park with the trailer on a hill then let it roll down to the TV. Steering the trailer can get tricky but that is the wife's job ;)
Seriously, I too use a target on the boat, RV, utility trailer and a set of marker dots on my rear view mirror and on the back window. If I align the two dots like a gun sight onto the center of the trailer "target". It gets me close enough or dead on....most of the time.
