I was a project manager and more in my other life. Excel was my bread and butter. That said........ I layout everything prior to leaving . I decide where we are going and plot how to get there... THEN I find desirable campgrounds (no Walmart) ( I check RV reviews, do a goggle call and see what others have said THEN I plot all that info into Excel along side of camp costs , mileage, expected time to travel, address, phone.
Love Excel. it is easy to learn and I just print it out for in the truck, load the nav system and we are gone.
