How do you carry water hoses?

Being full time we are constantly either having the white hoses hooked up or bouncing down the road with them stored during the day. We drain and fasten ends, then just place them in basement storage.

If I were storing or not using my white hose for awhile I don't think I would connect the ends. I probably would run a bleach solution through it before putting it back in service though.
