I put a dishpan in the sink with a bit of soapy water to wash my hands with, then rinse over it. I use that water with hot added to wash dishes and then pour down the toilet to save gray space. I have never filled my black tank except by adding water to fill before dumping, so have not had to use blue tank for anything but grey.
consider using outside shower for most washing, if you are where you can and the weather permits (just get a mat of some type so that you don't get mud splatters on you). Learn to take a sink/pan bath if you aren't terribly dirty or going to be where it matters if you have a bit of bed hair. It really isn't necessary to shower everyday if you aren't getting dirty and you are in the woods or around campsite. (Yes, I prefer my morning shower, but have been known to skip it when water is limited).
And when you buy a blue tank.. BE SURE AND GET ONE BIGGER THAN YOUR GRAY TANK. It makes dumping much easier. No stress on overfilling and accidentally dumping on your site.
