We got the last 3 out of state, the last one about 800 miles away. I know a lot of people with TTs and not one ever broke down at home so what good is your local dealer when your away from home?
That's a good point and I look at trailers and warrantys somewhat differently than probably a lot of other folks. Since the warranty is so short and I know I will be keeping a trailer longer than what the factory warranty will cover I will simply fix things even during the warranty period if it is within my capability. This is especially true for minor things like loose screws, etc. since then I know that whatever has been fixed has been done to my liking. Now it the repair is more than about $100 or beyond my capability then I would let the dealer do the work especially during the warranty period.
