We had our last MH for five years 2005 Terra put 40000 miles on it. Beginning mileage 17000 ending 57000.
Replaced front tires $800
Repaired parking brake $2500 (made the repair myself for $350)
Replaced slide awning $300
5 DYI oil changes and lube $50ea
Carpet cleaning 4 times $75ea
Replace frig cooling unit $900 (made the repairs myself $400)
Front end alignment twice $300
Our current MH is a 2008 Winnebago Adventurer. We have had it for 1 year beginning miles 14000 currently 17000 mi.
1 DIY oil change $50
Bumper to bumper inside and out 5 year warranty $50 month.
($3000 for the 5 year term)
I never buy extended warranty's but in the case of a MH there are so many systems in operation one semi major repair will pay for itself.
