How much to repair?

When I turned my pump on for the first time since winterizing it, it makes the normal noise like it's pumping, except no water pressure builds up.

I'm guessing the fitting is broken ? Or the pump ?

How much would that cost to have a dealer fix?

I couldn't find the pump, looked under the sink, and behind the drawers, and couldn't see it.

Are some pumps mounted on the outside of camper underneath ?

Thanks

  • If you can find the pump it's very easy to repair, and quite cheap. Unfortunately I have no idea where yours is, but they are often located near the water tank outlet.
  • You want us to guess whats wrong with it and guess what it will cost to repair?
    REALLY!:S
Your problem may not be the pump. Could be a line on the suction side or a line in the wall or under the trailer.
  • Start by opening the faucet farthest from the pump. Let it run as you will hear air escaping. You will see a little "slobber" as the water approaches. Shut the faucet and open another one. You will bleed the air from the lines and then pressure will build up. Open the hot water fill valve to the tank and repeat the process with the hot lines.
  • Did you wait a couple of minutes for the pump to cycle water through the lines?
  • Mine is under the TV, behind the shower depending on how you look at it.
