I have only seen a couple of campgrounds in my travels with just 50A Service... I suspect the high end campgrounds providing hookups for the hugh motorhomes Travelers might be 50A service only. Most of our campgrounds however are camping off the power grids here on the East side of the US.
All of this info is readily available from all of the RESERVATION links I have seen.
I carry both the RV50A to 30A and the RV30A to 15A ADAPTERS just in case I run into the same situation.
I use my RV30A-15A ADAPTER all the time connecting my 30A Shore Power Cable to my 2KW Honda Generator to re-charge my batteries.
I got my ADAPTERS from AMAZON but they are also available from WALMART in the CAMPING/RV SECTION.
I sometimes use the RV50A to 30A ADAPTER when both sources are available and I notice the 30A SERVICE is well used and showing black burnt marking from arcing over etc...
I also carry a standard 20AMP Extension cord to use with the pedestal 20AMP service when we are using additional oil filled heaters to suppliment the propane furnace heat...
ALways got to have PLAN Bs ....
