5X on numerous breaks and limited miles. Fortunately we are able to limit our driving to 200 to 250 miles per day and try to stay off the interstate highways. We start early and end early. We like to get to the campground around 200pm, set up and go swimming, if there is a pool, cook a good meal for dinner, relax, read some and go over the next days drive, and plan further down the road.. When on the road we break about every hour to hour and one half for dog/human relief, sight see, lunch, walks. We are new comers and have completed 2 cross country trips of 7500+ miles each so far and have another planned for this summer. This seems to work for us. Oh we are retired too...
