I began driving for our local transit agency after I retired from Boeing at 58. Initially, I was concerned about back problems when driving for 9 hours. I was amazed to find it wasn't an issue, thanks to the seat.
I can't remember the brand name, but they were bucket seats with many more adjustable features than the average car or truck. They were of German manufacture.
When driving our Class A, the Flexsteel seats were very uncomfortable after two hours. I used to stop and take a 10-minute walk-around every two hours or so, but 6 hours total was my day's limit. Unfortunately, DW couldn't drive the RV at all because the seat/steering column/pedal relationships hadn't enough adjustability to accommodate her 5' body height.
I seriously considered going to a bus wrecking yard to get the German seats, but we ended up selling the RV instead.
