Ever wonder WHAT is on/in the grass/dirt/gravel at your RV Site :B
How about that grocery shopping cart.........you know the one the Mom just picked her toddler up out of with the poopy diaper
I grew up during a time where we played in the dirt/eat dirt, went swimming in the green pond, ran barefooted thru the mud/streams, floated 'sail boats' in the gutters after a rain storm, picked and ate fruit right off the trees, pulled rhubarb and carrots and snacked on them then drank from a rubber hose laying in front yard.............
And YET I rarely even get a cold :S
So, what are you saying? Because everything's dirty it's a bad idea to wear gloves when you're draining waste from your RV? I'm not buying it.
BTW...I've done everything on your list with the exception of and eating rhubarb and I rarely get sick either. Maybe it's just the fresh fruit that keeps us healthy.
I don't mean to answer for OB but in my view we as Americans are just way over the top, over concerned about these types of things. I agree with OB and actually many scientists now say that we need more dirt and bacteria in our lives...we would all be healthier for it in the long run. Our immune systems need it as we grow up to become really efficient.
Yes use gloves by all means...but my guess is the average person stands a better chance of fouling their hands while going to the bathroom than by dumping their waste tanks...do you don gloves every time you do a #2?
