- Rangerman40ExplorerI just came back from the Grand Tetons and I took 26 out of Grand Teton down to 287 into Rawlins where it hits 80. The portion of 26 I was on wasn't bad at all, of course I was heading down hill. There will be some grades once you get closer to Grand Teton but they aren't bad at all. The wind River Indian Reservation is long and boring, and make sure you keep the fuel tank topped off. There isn't a lot going on out that way. Once you actually get into Grand Teton and start heading south to Jackson Hole it's almost completely flat.
