I'd go with the hard sided. Where do you put all the bedding material with the hybrid? On the floor on the dinette, stop for a snack en-route to the campsite have to move everything to eat. With the bunk son or daughter has his or her own space for there things out of the way. Bunk, beds can be made up before leaving get to campground late park trailer go inside your ready for bed.
Time to pack up to leave it's raining your out in the rain folding up canvas. Get home have to open thing up again to dry out canvas.
If you have a TV able to pull the weight of the hard side that's what I'd go with.
