We had a hybrid prior to getting our TT. The hybrid was designed with sleeping in mind and less living area. We were able to sleep 7 comfortably in it which was a positive. Light weight was another positive, it was 23 feet long. On the negative side, there was very little living area on those rainy days when we were stuck inside so as a result we were on top of one another. The bathroom was so small that I had to leave the door open and my butt sticking out of the bathroom to shave and brush my teeth. Climbing over the DW in the bunk to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night was no fun. Closing the tent ends when they were wet was another down side. They either had to be dried off before closing them or opened up when we got home to dry out. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed our Hybrid but the TT gives us more livable space and sleeps 2 less but set up and take down is a lot less work. The other positive to the TT is far less outside noise.
