Hybrid with pop outs vs. Travel Trailer with bunks?

Having owned a 17ft hybrid prior to our current 22 ft unit, I'll tell you that with 3 adults, it's cramped. In other words don't be under any illusions that an 18 ft hybrid is that much more roomy than a small travel trailer. It's better, but not huge. To Bears Den's point, the bathroom in our old 17ft was a wet bath. After the first season we took our showers in public facilities. It was too small. Some of the newer ones are better, but still small.
