This! This is what I'm hoping will happen. Thanks to all for the warm welcome. It does have the corner bed with blinds and that's the first thing I was planning on changing out. Get those day/night shades. In fact it has two windows with blinds over the bed. Along the side of the bed and the top of the bed. The other project will be replacing the carpeting with linoleum. I saw some excellent threads (no pun intended) on carpeting here that I'll be poring over.

I forgot to mention I love to cook. Some weekends are spent doing nothing but cooking and baking or smoking and grilling.
