Been a little while since I posted here. I've had lots of fun camping since then. at least 1 a month, usually twice a month. We learned a lot from our beginner's rig. Been all over New Mexico, Texas, and even as far out as Jackson, MS. We learned pretty quick what we liked and didn't like with the Fleetwood.
We are empty nesters, so having a huge living area is not a concern. Bunches of beds and bunks meant pretty much nothing to us except a waste of space. We learned we hated the corner bed. Our next rig would definitly have a queensize walk around. We learned we wanted linoleum floors all throughout. We hated the carpet. We loved the full fridge setup. We learned we didn't want a motorcoach. We'd rather tow.
So we just picked up our brand new travel trailer a couple weeks ago. We picked a 2015 Lance Model 1995. 4 seasons model. All the options. Totally in love with it. Took it out last weekend to City of Rocks State Park, New Mexico. Maiden voyage was a total success. Gotta love that new RV smell. And this appears to be the perfect size for us two. Plenty of room to get comfortable in.
