Inverter generator without 30 amp outlet
Was given a new Colman 3000w Genny for my birthday. It doesn't have a 30 amp outlet. Can I just use my adaptor and be able to draw enough power out of the standard outlet to run our TT air-conditionin...

Most smaller Generators do not come with 30 amp.
IF it has a standard DUPLEX receptical, like the ones in your house and if both slots are the same (Measure voltages should be zero top to bottom all 3 same slots, 120 side to side and the neutral (round hole) may or may not be connected.
There is a adapter.. I don't have the link to it handy but it is a plastic block with a 30 amp RV type outlet and two 15 amp "plugs" properly spaced on the other side.. Fits the duplex outlet and provides a bit less voltage drop.
