Have lived in WVa, VA and now NC and you are allowed to deduct the interest you've paid on your RV....ONLY stipulation I've seen is, the unit MUST have a built in bathroom in it....I've been deducting any interest I ever paid on a TT or 5er for years, but couldn't when I owned a pop-up because it didn't have a "built in" bathroom...So I know it's perfectly legit in those three states....
Same in Kansas, have been deducting interest since 2007.
Just as a clarification, a rv or boat has to also have spaces for sleeping and cooking. Just a bathroom is not sufficent. All 3 needed before you can deduct the interest paid.
